To join, leave or search the confocal microscopy listserv, go to: http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A0=confocalmicroscopy ***** Dear Listers, I'm looking for confocal users feedback on their needs regarding humidity cells for Live cell light microscopy applications, namely RH and temperature range they require and the size of the cell that they require and whether it needs to be able to accommodate Petri dish style sample holders such as fluoro dishs (35mm diameter)?Any other comments or feedback helpful on your experience and needs in this area. Thank you for your help and guidance on this? Thank you, All the Best Jan. Above the media, yes, needs to be 100% - this would cause condensation on the lid, unless the lid is warmed a little (if inverted epi-fluorescence only, the water on the lid does not matter; evaporation of the media always matters). Yes, 35 mm glass bottom dishes should be supported. Unless you are going to be able to offer as good (or better) products for a lot lower end user price, and as good or better service, than pecon http://www.pecon.biz/?page_id=48 LIS http://www.lis.ch/ etc, don't bother.
