Bitplane is pleased to invite you to our upcoming "Biofilm and Filament
analysis, “Kiss and run” – ImarisXT" image analysis webinar taking place
tomorrow on the 16th of March 2016 at 1pm (New York time) 5pm (UK Time).
Please use this link to register -

join the live presentation or receive the recording afterwards.

“Off The Beaten Track” is a series of webinars with members of the Imaris
XT Development Program focusing on the image analysis challenges they faced
and how they came up with solutions using Imaris and the XT module. The
series will be of particular interest to people who write image analysis
application code in Matlab or Python.
Topics that will be discussed in the second webinar of the “Off the Beaten
Track” series include:
- Analysis of relative position of biological object in 3D space and time
(Surface object contact and overlap area, “kiss and run “ analysis –
contact duration)
- Biofilm analysis - shape  and structure characteristics of the 3D
reconstructed biofilm volumes, any other surface object or cell (i.e.
thickness, roughness)
- Filament analysis - automated bouton (varicosity) detector and analysis
per segment, quantification of neuron terminal endings, intensity
measurements along the filament and spine structures

We look forward to seeing you at this event!
