I shall "reflect" on Image Express s (IXM) problem of losing it's focus quite literally
At some point during scanning wells (autofocus on) it starts racing and loses focus . (Windows shows application hang in it's event log at that time, we didn't have Axotracer switched on, unfortunately)
On another note It also tends to lose focus in an irregular pattern one of four fields acquired within wells . Changing exposure time in Configure Autofocus setting indicates that wells out of focus were not able to collect 2nd focus score peak. But extending exposure to focus beam (did indeed bring these wells back into focus but) did not prevent the behavior above: speed up with concomitant loss of focus
Would anybody be able to dissect this problem with lasersharp focus?
Users tell me system has performed well for almost a year but now starts to act in this manner.
