In-Vivo cellular imaging
Erasmus MC Rotterdam, Netherlands
October 29- November 2, 2012
This five day course consists of lecture sessions in the morning and
practical sessions in
the afternoon. On Monday and Thursday there will also be evening
sessions with a
dinner. In the final session on Friday afternoon participants will
present and discuss the
results of their practical work. The practical sessions can be attended
by a maximum of
20 participants (5 groups of 4 participants). The selection of
participants for the practical
sessions will take place based on the motivation submitted by the
participant.
TOPICS: Super resolution Imaging, 4Pi, SIM, TIRF, single molecule PALM,
STORM, GSDIM, correlative microscopy
Functional imaging: FRAP, FRET, FLIM, time lapse imaging
Quantitative data analysis, cell tracking
Fluorescent proteins
The practicals will cover: Introduction, Time lapse imaging
super resolution single molecule imaging (PALM / STORM) structured
illumination (SIM) and 4Pi
functional imaging, FRAP, FRET
data analysis

Equipment available: Leica SP8, SP5 and 4Pi, Zeiss Elyra PS1, LSM780,
LSM700, LSM510, Roper / Nikon single molecule microscope
