Input about image cell boundaries detection during image analysis

Hello,

I have GFP fluorescent cells and I would like to detect the cell limites based on the GFP fluorescence. Right now I just choose a treshold based on what I see or based on the ration between the fluorescence and the background.
So I was just curious to hear about your methods to choose a treshold for cell boudaries detection. I would like to somehow normalize the detection and make it a liitle bit less arbitrary.

Thank you,

JP

Re: Input about image cell boundaries detection during image analysis

Hi Leoncio.
I just want to double check with you if you are coming tomorrow morning at 9.
I really appreaciate if you can come at least to tell me a little bit about the stuff we have here, and also to tell me what to do with some folders left here, so I can get little bit organized.
We can start the trainnig, then, on the other week. Did Dr. Motamedi contacted you?

Sincerely,
