The qualified individual will be responsible for coordinating demonstrations and working with applications scientists to provide systems-focused solutions to customers. 3i develops and manufactures multi-modal imaging systems controlled by its 64-bit native SlideBook 5.0 software for cutting edge fluorescence microscopy imaging and analysis. System options include spinning disk confocal, high speed laser switching, photomanipulation, FLIM, FRET, FRAP, Ratio Imaging, and 2-Photon microscopy. Postion: Research Imaging Technical Sales Representative (Northeast, US) Compensation Program: Base Salary + Commission Travel: 50% Responsibilities: Generate and qualify leads within assigned territories (specific territory to be determined by geographical location of employee and experience) Execute equipment demonstrations of customized research imaging systems Work with staff scientists to meet the true application needs of each customer Closely research imaging system sales Install and train customers on research imaging systems Provide field-based feedback to maintain product value and competitiveness Maintain and manage existing customer base, providing support services as required Attend regional and national trade shows Qualifications: 3-5 years experience in research imaging systems technology sales Knowledge of microscopy-based imaging systems is essential Bachelor's or advanced college degree preferred Ability to travel within given territory Excellent customer relations skills and ability to give product based presentations are essential Independent position requiring excellent organization and communication skills Must be a citizen or permanent resident of USA To apply, please email a resume and cover letter to [hidden email] |
