St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is hiring to fill Dr. Vickie Frohlich’s role as Institutional Light Microscopy Core Director that serves all academic departments and upwards of 50 faculty research programs on a yearly basis. Lead a team of three Ph.D.-level staff members in a 100% institutionally supported core that teams with faculty and their lab members to drive basic research at St. Jude. We are looking not only for a track record of successful team management, impeccable know-how with state-of-the-art instruments but also highly value a track record of R&D skill in integrating new technologies.

Come exercise your leadership skills and be a central figure to educate and guide a burgeoning imaging community.  In addition to world-class PI-driven basic science, St. Jude also offers our Light Microscopy Core Director the opportunity to synergize with a top of the line Electron Microscopy Core (directed by Cam Robinson) and our newly formed Center for Bioimaging Informatics (directed by Khaled Khairy) for cutting edge image analysis expertise. Do your best work in microscopy in an environment that serves St. Jude’s mission to Find Cures and Save Children with Pediatric Catastrophic Diseases.
