MBI is searching for imaging applications software engineers to complete projects for hardware manufacturers and for academic researchers. Hardware manufacturers have contacted MBI to integrate their devices into Micro-Manager as well as create custom software interfaces to allow for easy development of new applications. Academic researchers require software development assistance from MBI to help them create novel imaging applications using Micro-Manager, including confocal and multi-photon technologies. MBI is a software development company aims to support and enhance Micro- Manager in order to accelerate its adoption. Open Source Micro-Manager platform integrates the control of all scientific-grade microscopes and associated robotic components across multiple manufacturers and equipment into a single unified software platform.
