The Hahn lab at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill is seeking a permanent employee to help us build and maintain cutting edge microscopes, and to participate in research using these microscopes with biosensors, optogenetics, and other unique molecules developed for imaging. In addition to our independent work, we collaborate closely with several laboratories working on optical physics (Superfine, Legant labs at UNC). You would be a bridge between us and these collaborators. We have or are currently pursuing capabilities for single particle tracking in live cells (2D and 3D), 2 photon optogenetics, multiplexed optogenetics and biosensors, lattice light sheet microscopy, and SIM-TIRF.  Candidates with appropriate experience, and education ranging from Bachelor’s to PhD degrees, are encouraged to apply. Your level of responsibility and independence will depend on your initiative and ability.  See hahnlab.com for more information. Please send your CV and a cover letter to Dr Klaus Hahn at [hidden email].  Salary will be commensurate with experience.
