LSM 510 uncaging

Dear list members,
I have the following problem with our LSM 510 META.
I want to uncage glutamate cages. For that I want to open the two photon laser set at 720 nm for 0.6 ms on 1 single pixel between two images.
When I use the photobleaching macro of the software, I cannot change the pixel dwell time between imaging and bleaching. Setting a pixel dwell time of 0.6 ms for imaging is of course largely too much. Now if I set a standard pixel time of around 3 us, and decide to increase the number of iterations of bleaching, I realized that between each iteration, there is a dead time of few ms. It seems that I have no control on this dead time.
Does any of you experience the same problem and have a solution to fix it ?
The laser I use is quite old (8 years), does the problem comes from that ?
Thanks a lot,
Stephane
