I am building a photo-activatable GFP TIRF system and wanted to get some suggestions on what brand of 405nm Lasers people have used in the past. Can anybody suggest a low power (10mw) 405 Laser?

We've had good luck with Coherent. A quick search of their site offers
several 405 nm lasers at your power requirements.

Have fun,

I had good success with a 638 diode laser from Pavilion Integration
Corporation.  They work with any diode/wavelength combo and have good
stability.  They also came in at a lower price than Coherent.  It just
depends on what you can afford.
