Hello All,

I wanted to ask the group if you know of any de-installation instructions for the Leica Inverted TCS SP5 II Confocal System. I have searched the web and could only locate the original manual (nothing there regarding this), some advertising brochures, and research many articles.
I have an interest / opportunity to purchase one of these (for re-sale) but want to make sure all the T's are crossed prior to removal and transporting it. If you have any information concerning the protocol for dismantling one of these please let me know.

Hello.

What you definitely should not to do is to disconnect scanning head from
the table!. It is otherwise extremely hard to adjust light path back again.
Important is to make safe any moving and fragile parts. Try to do just as
less optical paths parts disconnections as absolutely necessary. It is
extremely useful to make a detail photo documentation of cables
connections, screws etc. and follow detail packing box description. I would
also recommend to do a "paranoid robust" backup of the operating system.
