Leica Microsystems: Marketing and Product Manager Position available

Dear Confocal Specialists,

we plan to extend the Leica team supporting our Distributor Sales Areas.
For this, we are looking for a Biologist with detailed knowledge in
technology and applications of confocal microscopy and related techniques.
The location of this position will be in Mannheim, Germany.

Your initial role in the team will include:
-Organization of sales-, product- and application training for the sales
representatives of our local distribution network.
-Support of our distribution partners with the organization and
implementation of exhibitions and workshops.
-Product demonstrations for interested customers in cooperation with the
application department.
-Product training for existing customers.
-Hotline support for distribution partners as well as for confocal users.
At a later stage your responsibility will be extended to cover marketing
and strategy in a specific distribution area, too.

We expect that your presentation and communication skills are excellent.
You should enjoy working in an international environment, being prepared
for frequent international travel activities (up to 50%). Professional
experience in sales and marketing is preferred. Naturally your spoken and
written english should be fluent. Spanish knowledge is an advantage.
