I just had a client in using the scope.  He had whole plant leaf mounts.  We did
some Z-stacks, no issues - but when I went to change the objective to 10 for
shut down and return the objective to the bottom position -4, the value was 4.98
mm.  Has anyone run into this before?  Also, when I went to shut down the LAS
AF program, there was an error about z-drive position was 35789867969 and must
be between 0 and 254945956569 or something like that.  So i rebooted the
system, and I cannot get into the LAS AF program because it keep giving me
error and terminating.  I tried looking online for some help, to no avail. Can
anyone help?

We had the same problem quite some time ago.
First try to reset the z-levels at the microscope. Should be described
in the manual.
If this does not help you have to reset the microscope box.
First of all switch the microscope on and move the objective to a middle
z-position somewhere.
At the power supply of the microscope you should find a reset button
that can be pressed with a pen.
Press that button. After that you will need to reset the z-levels and
then it should work again.

I hope that helps.
