BEGIN MESSAGE

Hello,

I would like to announce the Single Molecule Localization Microscopy Challenge at the upcoming IEEE ISBI 2013 conference.

http://bigwww.epfl.ch/smlm/challenge/

The Single Molecule Localization Microscopy challenge is motivated by the tremendous growth this field has witnessed for the last years, both in academia and industry. Software tools and algorithms are instrumental to this imaging technique, and we decided to focus the challenge on benchmarking currently available software.

The challenge is open to all individuals or teams, academic or corporate, that developed or are currently developing super-resolution software tools and algorithms.

Your participation is important. It will allow the research community to better understand what is the current state of localization algorithms and software, and to discuss  future directions of the field. The challenge is also an excellent platform for exchanging ideas, sharing your experience, and introducing your software to the other participants.

We kindly ask you to visit our website and to positively consider your participation in this unique session.

ISBI (International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging) has become one of the most important conferences in its field, providing a fruitful platform for engineers and practitioners to interact and collaborate on theoretical and practical aspects of biomedical imaging. The conference will be held on 7-11 April 2013 in San Francisco, CA.
