To support its research strategy, the Food Science Department at the NRC is seeking a: Microscopy Technician Main responsibilities: * Prepare samples (fixation, embedding, cutting) for light/confocal food microscopy analysis * Handle light/confocal microscopes and if necessary electron microscopes (TEM and SEM) * Use digital image acquisition tools * Provide results, interpret data and write reports * Contribute to the microscopy methodology development * Train new users of optical microscopes * Ensure administrative management of microscopes' equipments * Guarantee quality of results and manage lab security Required profile: * Technical diploma in a biology related field * Several years experience using light/confocal microscopy in a R&D environment * Good command of French and English (oral & written) Personal requirements: * Result oriented and good team spirit * Flexibility and good adaptation skills * Aptitude to work autonomously and solve problems * Good communication skills (oral & written) If you are interested in being involved in demanding and innovative projects within one of the leading research laboratories in food and nutritional sciences worldwide, then apply with us now on www.careers.nestle.com, or using the direct link: https://vurv.nestle.com/MAIN/CareerPortal/job_profile.cfm?szOrderID=927 (complete application including CV, cover letter and references is mandatory).
