There is an opening for an early-career researcher interested in the development of coherent Raman microscopy at the interface between academia and industry. The position is a part of the MUSIQ collaboration involving several academic institutions and companies. A successful applicant would enroll in a PhD program at the University of Cardiff and simultaneously be employed by Light Conversion, a manufacturer of ultrafast laser systems based in Vilnius, Lithuania. Participation in the MUSIQ project involves working in Vilnius and Cardiff, plenty of travel, networking and cross-institutional collaboration and is a great opportunity for someone interested in the development of nonlinear microscopy instrumentation to grow their career.
