The system should of course include options for booking, billing, user statistics, resource statistics, maintenance etc. I checked previous postings and have on my list so far iLab Solutions and Stratocore (with PPMS), but I hope to get a few more options. I would also be very grateful for input from other facilities that use such a "facility-generic" management system today, how that work for you. User friendliness, ease of installation and support quality are important factors, as well as how easy it is to create automatic rules/restrictions for booking resources. They have modules for instrument scheduling, service requests (which can ramp up to a full LIMS system) and electronic lab notebooks.
