This is Africa, in midlle of the Atlantic Ocean, no possible supprot from leica or alike, any help would be highly appreciated. In short, this is a plug-in USB CCD from Leica, in principle you should plug-it in and that's it. But neither the Leica software, windows or mac recognize it. Windows tries to install it, but gives an error. Last year it was working, and the local people report no incident. There is a light on the side that should be green and is read. A red button that should beep and do things after 2 or 5 secs of continuous preessing, but nothing happens. And a kind-off re-boot orifice on the back that the manual states to be used by leica technicians, which I also tried to press for 10 secs without no consequence. Any suggestions? or is it really dead? Thanks. Again I have 13 students of the local BioMEd PhD program and this is the ONLY microscope on the University, I'm bringing origami foldscopes, but some of the preps I want to see will not work that way, I really have to demonstrate on screen cheers Jose Feijo Univ.
