Job Summary Consults with customers and sales/applications specialists to deeply understand and provide extensive application support on issues related to widefield and confocal microscopy; Supports exhibitions and organizes short course support, including planning, communicating, teaching and reporting; Handles demonstration system logistics and confirms correct system functionality. Primary Responsibilities: · Provide expert product, application and software support to customers, sales and service organization · Triage technical problems during customer calls · Document and route support issues · Communicate and resolve support requests · Conduct software testing · Test and confirm demo system functionality · Conduct training courses for customers and Client employees · Participate and teach in customer workshops Education and Experience Required: · BA/BS in bio-sciences minimum; Masters or PhD degree preferred · Familiarity with biological imaging applications needed; fluorescence and confocal microscopy experience highly valued · Minimum 3 years in research, applying biological imaging techniques to relevant scientific problems · Experience in a customer-facing support role · Maintain and troubleshoot advanced imaging equipment, hardware and software · Teaching experience, provide training to others on how to apply imaging equipment and techniques to solve scientific questions |
