Dear list,

There is an exciting position available at the Biozentrum in Basel.
Ideal applicants should have a strong background in fluorescent microscopy and also some knowledge in biophysics:

Postdoctoral Position in Mechanobiology and Mechanosignaling
The Lim Lab at the Biozentrum and the Swiss Nanoscience Institute, University of Basel, Switzerland, is seeking post-doctoral candidates to work in the exciting, multidisciplinary field of Mechanobiology. Here, we want to study how mechanical stress impacts on mechanosignaling in living cells.
Highly motivated individuals with a background in mechanobiology, intracellular transport and related fields are strongly encouraged to apply. Expert skills in life- cell imaging/confocal microscopy, as well as quantitative image analysis are a sought after bonus.
Please send a CV including publications, a half-page description of your scientific experience/interests, and a list of three referees as a single pdf file to:
Prof. Roderick Lim (c/o [hidden email]<mailto:[hidden email]>) Applications close on Friday, Aug 14th 2015.
Note: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

Best regards,
Oliver
