Multiphoton Imaging Core Director
Tenure-track Assistant Professor, School of Medicine and Dentistry

The University of Rochester Medical Center is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative tenure-track Assistant Professor to lead a successful independent research program, as well as direct and enhance current multiphoton imaging capabilities within the Multiphoton Imaging Core of the University's Shared Resource Laboratories (https://www.urmc.rochester.edu/multiphoton/). Outstanding candidates qualified for other ranks will also be considered.  The successful candidate's academic appointment will be made in the Department most appropriate to his/her training and research program.

Strong research programs in Immunology, Stem Cell Biology, Infectious Disease, Oral Biology, Musculoskeletal Biology, and Pharmacology and Physiology currently utilize the Multiphoton Core. The institution is looking for an energetic and engaged Core Director to grow these collaborations, establish new users groups, and to maintain and enhance cutting-edge imaging and optogenetic capabilities within the University.  Experience in advancing multiphoton capabilities, intravital microscopy, and/or image processing analyses are highly desirable.
