We are currently looking for a *Bioscience Imaging Systems Product Manager* who would be responsible for key understanding of all Nikon, OEM, and vendor reseller components for confocal and imaging systems in order to provide planning, forecasting, and procurement of systems products. Manager would develop and implement all confocal and imaging introduction schedules, documentation, and pricing in order to obtain yearly product sales goals. This position requires close correspondence and negotiation with vendor partners to obtain the most marketable products at the best profit margin for Nikon, as well as seeking out and establishing new vendor relationships for innovative and new products that can be integrated with Nikon to increase our sales and market penetration while interacting with developers and factory engineering for product feedback and recommendations based on market trends and competitors. Finally, the Bioscience Imaging Systems Product Manager would provide instruction and assistance by written and verbal presentation to Nikon personnel, customers, and service department members regarding any aspect of confocal or imaging system operation. *QUALIFICATIONS**: * - Microsoft applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint). - SAP preferred. - Working knowledge of operation and application of microscopy, imaging equipment and systems product knowledge (confocal, scientific camera systems, and motion control devices). · Excellent communication and presentation skills. · In-depth knowledge of Computer Hardware and related software pertaining to microscopy. - Indepth software experience with: NIS-Elements, Adobe Photoshop, SolidWorks/Autocad, Visio, Apple iBook Author preferred but not required. - Ability to work outside of regularly scheduled work hours as needed. - 5+ years experience in microscopy and/or product management and/or confocal/imaging sales. - 3+ years of experience with NIS-Elements or advanced imaging software in acquisition and advanced analysis. · Masters Degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent academic experience required. · Ph.D. preferred.
