Dear all,
Today, we are releasing the first public beta version of FigureJ, an ImageJ
plugin that will help you build articles figures from your images. It
reduces the time needed to build a figure from hours to minutes, works with
the standard ImageJ release, and adds some very interesting features like
it keeps track of original datasource and processing. Adding scalebars for
example is made very easy. Figure annotation can be done with ImageJ
built-in tools. Check out the videos on the ImageJ documentation wiki to
see how simple it is (

This is the first public version, so it certainly has bugs in it, and the
code is not finished. Of course it's free and open-source, so everyone is
welcome to suggest or contribute enhancements. We acknowledge the support
of the Institute for Plant Molecular Biology, CNRS , Strasbourg, France;
HTW Berlin, Germany, and Carl Zeiss.
All comments are welcome.
Sincerely,
Jerome.
