I am trying to identify suitable candidates for newly created Sales Product Specialist roles with Bruker Nano Surfaces FM (Fluorescent Microscopy).  Bruker Nano Surfaces FM is a new business unit within Bruker Corporation, a publicly traded (NASDAQ: BRKR) leading provider of high performance scientific instruments and solutions for molecular and materials research with $1.8 billion sales and over 6,000 employees in over 90 locations in all continents.

The sales expansion comes about as a result of Bruker’s recent acquisition of Vutara, the developer of super-resolution and single molecule localization microscopy products, thereby adding to Bruker’s existing portfolio of multi-photon and confocal microscopy fluorescence microscopes resulting from last year’s acquisition of Prairie Technologies, as well as high-performance atomic force microscopes

Bruker is seeking to fill the Sales Product Specialists roles with individuals who have a thorough understanding of life science customers and fully capable of demonstrating FM products to prospects and customers and selling advanced instrumentation technology.

Although the two positions being filled would ideally be located in the Silicon Valley and Houston areas, strong candidates may be considered along the respective ‘vertical’ territorial corridors up and down the West coast and the Central/Mountain Regions.  Relocation will be considered for the right candidate.

The likely qualifications of the successful candidate will be someone with a BSc degree in a biological science and a minimum of five years of related sales experience.  Alternatively, s/he may hold a Master’s degree and three years of sales experience or a PhD without sales experience but with strong underlying selling skills attributes.

Further information on Bruker and the products in question can be found at www.bruker.com<http://www.bruker.com>.

I would be pleased to provide additional information.

Many thanks,

Trevor
