Regards, Dan =================== Nikon Instruments UK are currently recruiting for an Advanced Imaging Specialist to drive our advanced systems business in the London area. Our advanced imaging product portfolio includes the A1R confocal system, A1R MP+ multiphoton system, N-SIM & N-STORM super-resolution systems and the BioStation CT live cell screening system.The purpose of this role is to develop Nikon’s Advanced Imaging System sales by providing exceptional support and service to both our customers and the Nikon Instruments Sales team. Reporting to the Advanced Imaging Manager, this is a key position within the Advanced Imaging team of Nikon Instruments UK. Key responsibilities of the role: Provide exceptional Advanced Imaging System support to ensure that customers receive best in class customer service from Nikon Assist the Sales team in the sales of Advanced Imaging Systems within the Nikon portfolio by promoting Nikon solutions and performing demonstrations for customers Build and develop a network of key research professionals within London, utilising this network to assist Key Account Managers with identifying potential new sales leads Ensure customers are provided with accurate quotations for Advanced Imaging Systems Ensure customers and the Sales team are provided with accurate and honest applications and technical guidance Ensure that any issues are escalated quickly and efficiently where required and that customers and the Service team are provided with application and software support in order to resolve them Essential skills and experience: A university level degree in a Biosciences or Biophysics related subject A strong understanding of the laboratory environment, microscopy industry and live cell imaging biological applications At least 3 years experience working with advanced light microscopy systems, eg confocal, super-resolution, high content and multiphoton systems At least 3 years experience of advanced image acquisition and analysis software packages A proven ability to put the customer’s requirements at the heart of what they do, striving to deliver high quality customer service at all times A proven ability to appropriately convey complex technical information, in written and verbal formats, to both experts and non-experts An outgoing, confident individual with excellent interpersonal skills who is able to quickly build strong rapport with customers and able to influence and engage effectively at all levels of the business An excellent verbal and written communicator with the ability to articulate ideas and decisions in a clear and convincing way A well-organised approach to managing workload, being able to prioritise effectively and demonstrate strong time-management skills Based in London (within M25) Current, full UK driving license Desired skills and experience: A research qualification in a such as an MSc or PhD in a Biosciences or Biophysics related subject Previous experience of providing advanced light microscopy systems technical support Benefits: Highly competitive salary (dependent upon experience) Fully expensed business travel Lunch allowance Employee assistance programme Discount on Nikon products Pension* Permanent health insurance* Life insurance* Private health care* Dental scheme* Childcare vouchers* Holiday: 27 days per year, rising to 32 with years of service *qualifying periods apply |
