The Royal Microscopical society is looking for nominations for its various medals (please see the link). In particular we’re looking for nominations in the Life Sciences (use of microscopy in the life sciences)
But there may be people you know that you’d like to nominate in other categories.
Please can I encourage you to think about deserving candidates that you could nominate?
Nominators only need to submit a curriculum vitae for the nominee (which you can ask them to provide) and a statement (maximum length 1 page) outlining the merits of the candidate and their suitability for the medal.
The nominee is normally within 10 years of starting up their own lab.
