OMERO-Beta4.0.1

Hi All,

The Open Microscopy Environment is pleased to announce the release of OMERO Beta-4.0.1.  Most of this is bug fixing, but those of you looking closely will notice that OMERO is expanding its reach-- into gels!  (OK, maybe not that exciting, but those of you following the files supported by Bio-Formats (http://www.loci.wisc.edu/ome/formats.html) might have a guess where we are going)

This release contains some bug fixes and adds some new features:

1. Fixed Windows installation and updated docs.
2. Bug fixes (scriptingEngine, importer).
3. Fix .lif import, add Li-Cor 2D.
4. API .dv and OME .ome.tiff now supported by OMERO.fs
5. Support negative pixel values in Rendering Engine.
6. Archived images are now fully supported in OMERO.
7. OMERO.web merged with OmeroPy in distribution

The server and client downloads can be obtained from

http://www.openmicroscopy.org/site/documents/data-management/omero4/downloads

As always, all of our software is freely available at http://openmicroscopy.org

Cheers,

Jason
