Dear Friends,
It is my pleasure to invite you to participate in the Optics within Life
Sciences (OWLS) conference. The OWLS meeting is an international conference
that is organized biennially and moves to different venues all over the
world. The 14th OWLS meeting (OWLS 2016) will be held from March 16 to 19,
2016 at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research and at the Indian
Institute of Technology, Mumbai, India, marking the first time that OWLS is
setting foot in India. This will be preceded by a workshop on Fluorescence
and Raman spectroscopy (FCS 2016, March 12-15, 2016). Your contribution to
the scientific program will enrich the conference and we are sure you will
enjoy the academic exchange with colleagues from all over the world.
OWLS-2016 is being planned as the largest conference in this field held so
far in India. It will have nine thematic sessions, namely, Fluorescence
Spectroscopy, Super-resolution Imaging, Single Molecule spectroscopy,
Nanoscale Biophysics, Ultrafast Phenomena in Biology, Bio-imaging in Live
Cells, SERS Platforms in Biology, Probes for Imaging, Spectroscopy, and
Sensing, and Theoretical Optical Spectroscopy. More information and updates
