We are selling our Olympus FV1000 confocal microscope which is now
surplus to requirements. The system was purchased in 2006 and has been
maintained under service contract since that date. The system is fully
operational with no known faults. Interested parties are welcome to come
and look at/test the system which is located at the Babraham Institute near
Cambridge, UK. We will consider shipping internationally, with all shipping
expenses to be bourne by the purchaser.
System details as follows:
Olympus IX81 inverted microscope with 20x 0.75NA UPlanSApo, 40x 1.3NA
UPlanFLN, 60x 1.35 NA PlanSApo lenses. 3x confocal detectors (2 of which
are spectral), transmited light detector. DIC with motorised condenser.
Lasers (AOTF modulated): 405nm diode, multi-line argon (457, 488,
514nm), 543nm HeNe and 633nm HeNe. SIM scanner option (this is the
older version which can only use the 405nm laser line and requires manual
relocation of the 405 fibre from the main scanner). Mercury burner for epi-
fluorescence, with filter cubes for DAPI, FITC and TRITC. Manual stage.
Upgraded PC and 2x 19" monitors.
