Hi all
I am having a reoccurring error when users try to switch between BI
and LSW mode on our FV500 system. The scope is old but running the
latest version of FloView software on a computer we purchased from
Olympus last year. I do not have a service contract on the machine
because of its age so I am hoping one of you out there might know how
to get this fixed. We have had the issue in the past and was able to
reset it- now it is happening with alarming frequency.
this is what I sent to Olympus:
I am getting a weird error on our confocal. In Floview, when a user
switches between BI and LSW mode it causes an error message:
MalGetPrisimStatus(hScopeDriver) Error Code 1025
In addition, the scope power box is lighting up with errors:
the PRC is flashing green
the RMT is orange
and the ERR is flashing red.
I am not sure what to do- in the past week we have been able to reset
the system by logging out of Floview and restarting the microscope
power supply. This would fix it for several weeks- now it is happening
every day and almost every time a person goes to scan.
Any suggestions are welcome to try and fix this before paying for a
service call.
