The Biophysical Imaging department of the Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technology, based in Jena (DE) and led by Prof. Christian Eggeling, is currently looking for a new Postdoc Researcher to join us in early 2021. The position is for two (2) years, stipend according to the German TV-L table for public employees.
Your qualification:
Master in Physics, Chemistry or Biology with strong background in optical microscopy
Deep knowledge on microscope setups/optics
Strong interest in biophysical studies
Your knowledge and skills:
Experience in advanced fluorescence and super-resolution microscopy
Experience in cell-biological and/or biophysical applications using microscopy
Experience in building microscopes
Know-how in developing software for hardware control
