Dear all,
The University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, has established BioMedical Imaging Facility (BMIF) whose mission is to provide state-of-the-art imaging technology to cutting edge biomedical research. The BMIF is a multi-user facility that provides training instrument operation and data analysis. The focus of the BMIF is fluorescence microscopy including epifluorescnence for live cell imaging, confocal microscopy, spinning disc microscopy, total internal reflection fluorescence (TIRF) microscopy, time-resolved single molecule imaging including fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy (FLIM) and fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS), and 2-photon and intravital microscopy. BMIF also includes other imaging modes such as atomic force microscopy (AFM). It oversees a tissue culture facility and associated laboratories for sample preparation. We are looking for a Manager and Senior Technical Officer who are passionate about fluorescence microscopy and have an interest in molecular and cell biology.
