A 3 year postdoctoral position in synaptic neuroscience/two-photon imaging is available at the Department of Biomedicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Bergen, Norway.

The position is part of the Top Research (Toppforsk) project “Molecular control of Arc protein: decoding a master regulator of synaptic plasticity and cognition”, funded by the Research Council of Norway. The project is led by Professor Clive Bramham of the Neuroscience Research Group.

The project team is multidisciplinary with expertise in molecular neuroscience, live-cell imaging, electrophysiology, protein structural biology, biophysics, and biochemistry.

Project and Postdoctoral Fellow
The project focuses on regulation of protein-protein interactions and FRET biosensor development for applications brain slices and live rodents. The project involves two-photon, fluorescence lifetime FRET imaging.

For further information about the project and the position, please contact Professor Clive R. Bramham, phone: +47 55 58 60 32 or e-mail: [hidden email]
