microscopy. The companies headquarters is based in Germany and the ideal
candidate is based within Germany near a major airport since this
Application manager will be responsible for all the major confocal customers
around the world.

Key responsibilities:
-Application and product support on Confocal Imaging and Super resolution
systems
- Product specifications and complex quotations
-Organizing and holding trainings and demonstrations for dealers and for
customers
-Events, seminars and workshops organization/support
- Monitoring of the competitors
- Support for complex product configurations
- Reporting to the Sales Manager
- Newsletters, flyers, BU communication distribution
- Ideally based around Mannheim/Germany
The successful candidate should haveĀ
- A Bachelor or Master degree (or equivalent in experience) in Life Science
- Min. 3 years experience in laboratory
- Experience in confocal and imaging microscopy incl. software
- Very good knowledge in the use of standard tools to prepare
specifications, holding training, calculating quotations and market analysis
- Negotiation skills
- Open to an intercultural environment
- Fluency in English and another European language
- Willingness to travel 60% worldwide.
