Pelleting EtOH-Fixed Cells: resume

Many thanks to all of you who offered advice on pelleting cells after ethanol fixation. That's what they did in the end, and it worked:

"Here is the protocol I used for pelleting EtOH-fixed cells:

1.  Pellet cells in EtOH fix at 750g, 4 min.
2.  Wash cell pellet with 1X PBS supplemented with 1% FBS or BSA.
3.  Allow to equilibrate for 20 minutes at room temperature while rocking.
4.  Centrifuge cells in a swing bucket centrifuge at 1800g for 4
minutes.  *Note* A fixed-radius centrifuge does not pellet the cells at
this step even at high g forces."
