not-so-young but very enthusiastic and experienced) researchers in a
fantastic research environment. We are located in Jena, a small but very
pleasant city in a convenient location in Germany, one of Europe's best
livable countries. We do image-based systems biology, including image
analysis using both classical and ML / AI-based methods, as well as model-
and image-based simulations. We collaborate with many groups in the field
of microscopy, infection and immune system biology, as well as clinical
research and applications. Translational science and interdisciplinary
research is especially strong in Jena, where you will find it easy to join
your efforts with enthusiastic collaborators.
