Dear all,
I am looking for a student, possibly a biologist but I am open minded about
this, to work on the following project “Oncogene-Induced Remodelling of
Cellular Networks: A Systems Biology Approach Using Optogenetics and
Next-Generation Microscopy”.
The project will involve the development of genetically encodeable sensors
for biochemical events within the living cells and biochemical perturbation
by novel Optogenetics tools.
It is a great opportunity for training in a highly interdisciplinary
environment dedicated to the study of biochemical networks and how they
are altered during oncogenesis. The ad is online here
http://www.jobs.cam.ac.uk/job/8315/ and the deadline is 25th November.
All microscopy systems that will be used are working prototypes for fast
multiplexed FLIM on two-photon microscopy and wide-field ratiometric
FRET / DMD-based optogenetics.
Do not hesitate to contact me for further information.
Cheers,
Alessandro
