Please can you forward to following to anyone who would be interested:

Fully funded 3-year PhD studentships are available within the Edinburgh Super-resolution Consortium (ESRIC)  in 2015 to use state-of-the-art microscopy techniques to study human biology and disease. Projects offered and instructions on how to apply can be found here:

The stipend for ESRIC@IGMM students would be £14,350 per annum.

Sample project titles are:
Development of super-resolution light-sheet microscopy for the study of cilia.
Light Sheet Microscopy for High Throughput Cellular Screening
Microfluidics toolbox for controlling the cellular environment during super resolution imaging
Development of new photoactivatable fluorophores for super-resolution microscopy
