I am a scientific recruiter with a company named Astrix.  We have recently been tasked with helping an Investigator at NIH (in Bethesda, MD) find an expert in immunohistochemistry (IHC) to join their lab.  This position is in the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) and thus requires prior neuroscience histology and IHC experience.  Prior experience working on non-human primate samples is desired, but not required.  Please note that we are NOT necessarily seeking ASCP or QIHC certificated individuals and that prior related research experience will be preferred over certification.

This opportunity is a fulltime, salaried, indefinite contractor position with great benefits.

Qualified candidates should send a current CV/resume (in MS Word format) to [hidden email]<mailto:[hidden email]>.

If this position is not right for you, could you please spend a moment and go through your mental rolodex and see if you can think of any colleagues, former colleagues, former bosses, or collaborators that might have the right background.  Feel free to forward this one to anyone you feel might be qualified or if you wish to refer someone anonymously send me an email ([hidden email]<mailto:[hidden email]>) with their name and contact information I'll reach out to them but not mention who referred them.

Thanks -
Jason Blaine
