*Description:*

A postdoctoral fellow or a specialist (research associate) position is
available for a candidate interested in superresolution microscopy.
Possible projects include but are not limited to methodology development
for 3D single-molecule localization-based superresolution microscopy
(instrumentation, and/or data analysis) and/or its application to study the
cytoskeletons, and cell-matrix/cell-cell interactions.

The candidate should have a solid training in physical chemistry, physics,
biophysics, or related areas (Ph. D. preferred), with research experiences
in superresolution microscopy/ single-molecule analysis, fluorescence
microscopy, or optical instrumentation.  Proficiency in computer
programming and image analysis are highly desirable.

Our laboratory is located at the Mechanobiology Institute (MBI), the
National University of Singapore (NUS).  MBI is an international,
interdisciplinary, and highly collaborative research institute with
state-of-the-art research facilities, equipments, and centralized support
services in microscopy, computing, protein expression, molecular cloning,
and nanofabrication.

Singapore is a modern city-state and a leading center for education,
research, technology, finance, and industry in Asia.  Located at the heart
of tropical Southeast Asia, Singapore is a thriving metropolis with vibrant
cultural offerings, as well as easy access to diverse cultures and natural
