Monash Micro Imaging (MMI) is one of the University’s Technology Research
Platforms, providing state-of-the-art optical microscopy instrumentation,
support and expertise to all Monash University researchers and postgraduate
students. MMI Laboratories are located on the main Clayton Campus and at
the two of the University’s Research Precincts (MHTP, Clayton and AMREP,
Prahran), catering to users at the University and associated Research
Institutes. The Platform undertakes a range of microscopy activities to
support research including training in research methods, instrument
operation, method development and data analysis.
We require an experienced scientist skilled in widefield and confocal
microscopy to train and assist users of the Optical Microscopy Platform.
Knowledge and practical experience of one or more of super resolution
techniques (dSTORM, STED), multiphoton, and clearing/lightsheet microscopy
would be advantageous.
