A postdoctoral position is open for a highly motivated applicant who has experience in cell biology and/or biophysics, and in particular DNA damage and repair mechanisms and confocal microscopy techniques, at Department of Cell Biophysics, Faculty of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Biotechnology, Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland.

The successful candidate will be involved in research into mechanisms of repair of DNA damage induced by various stimuli, including CRISPR/Cas9 (Kordon et al., Nucleic Acids Research, 2019) and visible light (Solarczyk et al., 2012). For further information please contact  [hidden email]

Principal techniques to be used are fluorescence confocal microscopy (including FRAP, FLIP, BiFC, FCS) and super-resolution microscopy (3D, multicolour dSTORM).

Required Qualifications:
Applicants must have a Ph.D.
Experience with confocal microscopy and basic cell biology methods required.
