Dear Friends and Colleagues,
I am very glad to announce that in our "Ultrafast Bio- and Nanophotonics" group we now have
an opening for a postdoctoral researcher with experience in multiphoton microscopy and
femtosecond laser applications to set-up and use a multi-photon microscopy setup for
cutting-edge multidisciplinary 'nanotechnology for health' projects that are envisioned with INL
internal and external international collaboration partners.
As you might know INL-International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory is located in a
wonderful area of Europe: In the North of Portugal!
The brand new research infrastructure for international nanotechnology research is inserted in
the historic town of Braga which also hosts an excellently evaluated research university (U
Minho) 'across the street’ . The institute is a 40 min drive from 2nd biggest city in Portugal,
Porto, as well as from the Atlantic beaches and Airport (30min).
I kindly would like to ask you to forward this postdoc position announcement to potentially
interested excellent candidates that might be interested to apply (ideally with experience in fs
laser experiments, device control, bioimaging and data analysis), or to other relevant contacts
that might be able to reach the best-suited candidates.
