Dear colleagues, a postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Michael Gerner, University of Washington, Seattle WA (
http://immunology.washington.edu/michael-gerner-phd). Successful applicant will utilize cutting-edge microscopy methods (multiplex confocal microscopy; tissue clearing; intravital 2-photon imaging; Histocytometry) and develop novel computational techniques in order to investigate how the spatial organization of cells in complex 3D tissues influences the generation of immune responses during disease or after vaccination.
This position requires PhD level training in immunology, bioinformatics, or computational image analysis. Ability to code and implement customized algorithms (MATLAB, R, etc…) is highly desirable. The successful applicant will join a collaborative and dynamic research environment, and will be able to take advantage of the collegial surroundings provided by the UW’s Department of Immunology and the thriving research environment in Seattle.
Applications should be sent by email to Dr. Gerner at
[hidden email]. Applicants are requested to send a cover letter, CV, representative publications, and names and contact information of three references.
