Postdoc position
A post-doctoral research position is available at the Institute of Human Virology, University of Maryland School of Medicine. The research will focus on elucidating the pathways of enveloped virus entry and fusion using molecular biology and time-resolved single particle tracking techniques. The laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art imaging equipment and image analysis software. IHV provides excellent research support through core facilities and common usage equipment. Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in biophysics, biochemistry, cell biology or molecular biology. A strong background in live cell fluorescence/confocal microscopy and protein labeling techniques is required. The ability to generate customized software for image analysis is preferred.
