Single-molecule analysis of mechanics-signaling crosstalk

A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Khuloud Jaqaman in the Department of Biophysics at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. The lab’s research is focused on applying single-molecule and super-resolution imaging methods for the quantitative analysis of cell surface receptor dynamics, interactions and signaling, in particular in the context of angiogenesis.

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree, preferably in biophysics, cell biology or a related field, with experience in light microscopy and live-cell imaging. The successful candidate will conduct quantitative single-molecule imaging experiments to investigate the effect of the mechanical microenvironment on cell surface receptor organization and signaling.

For more information about the Jaqaman lab, please go to: http://www.utsouthwestern.edu/labs/jaqaman/

Interested individuals should send a CV, a research statement describing their past accomplishments and current interests, and a list of three references to:

 Khuloud Jaqaman, Ph.D.
