The Vanderbilt Institute for Infection, Immunology, and Inflammation (VI4) and the
Vanderbilt Cell Imaging Shared Resource seek to hire an enthusiastic and talented
postdoctoral scientist to contribute to intravital imaging studies in the area of
infection biology.
The position will offer a shared training experience in the laboratories of Drs. Jim
Cassat, Eric Skaar, and Matt Tyska, and will provide access to state-of-the-art lightsheet, super-resolution, and confocal instrumentation and exciting opportunities to
develop quantitative live imaging approaches that take advantage of these powerful
technologies.
Qualified candidates will have previous experience with high performance light
microscopy and live imaging techniques. Individuals with specific expertise in
animal model imaging and/or small animal surgery are especially encouraged to
