RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
Endosome-lysosome and autophagy pathway trafficking in neurodegenerative disease


Applications are invited for the above post in the Department of Neurodegenerative Disease to investigate neuronal endosome-lysosome and autophagy pathway trafficking in a novel mouse model of neurodegenerative disease.

A PhD in an appropriate subject, and experience in cell culture and microscopy are essential, plus at least one of the following: experience in primary neuronal culture, cellular trafficking or live cell imaging. The ability to problem-solve, work independently and communicate effectively within the team and with collaborators is also required.

The post is available from June 2012 and is funded for 3 years by the MRC. Starting salary on UCL Grade 7 £32,055 pa inclusive, superannuable.
