A Postdoctoral position is available to investigate the mechanisms
controlling cell migration in the developing cerebellar cortex (Rouen,
Normandy, France)

An 18th month postdoctoral position is now available in Rouen (France) to
study intracellular mechanisms controlling the successive phases of cell
migration in the developing cerebellar cortex. Contract should start as soon
as possible. The candidate will investigate how alcohol affects those
mechanisms. The candidate must be highly motivated, have experience in
cellular imaging, and have a strong background in molecular signaling of
neuronal migration and differentiation. Some expertise in transcriptomic
and/or single cell qPCR would also be welcome.

The candidate will have a lot of freedom of action and access to all
facilities of the PRIMACEN cellular imaging platform
(http://primacen.crihan.fr), proteomic platform
(http://plateforme-proteomique.crihan.fr) and other core facilities of the
IFRMP23. The ideal candidate would be future applicant to an INSERM or CNRS
position to reinforce our research team.

The position is founded by a European Interreg program and the project will
be conducted in cooperation with researchers from Universities of Amiens and
Sussex. Salary will be competitive, depending on the candidate
qualification.
